Woodward Lecture Series: Wayne Curtis, Emory Douglas, and Yusuf Lateef

In this lecture, Waye Curtis, Emory Douglas, and Yusuf Lateef will speak about how revolutionary ideals inspire their art, which is both a reflection of and a fuel for collective liberation. Where Baba Wayne Curtis and Emory Douglas came to their revolutionary thinking through involvement in the Black Panther Party and activism within their respective communities, Yusuf Lateef follows in their footsteps and expands the possibilities of what liberation, joy, intergenerational teaching, and community building looks like through the lens of an artist.
