Show & Tell featuring Lucy Cahill, Gallery Coordinator
Lucy Cahill (she/her) is an arts administrator and artist, originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan and now based in Southwest Detroit. Her freelance illustration career took off in the mid 2010’s upon her arrival to Detroit, and she has created upwards of 70 illustrated concert posters between 2014-2025 for both local bands and nationally based acts. The themes Cahill explores in her work include the un-divine feminine, a sense of longing for nostalgia both real and imagined, food and nature, and references to mid-century print media. Alongside her freelance illustration work, she also currently works as the Gallery Coordinator at the College for Creative Studies.
