Jessica Rowden is a Detroit-based animator with a focus in cel/hand-drawn animation. She specializes in bringing complex designs to life within the commercial animation industry.
Professional Experience
Following graduation, Jessica went to work at First Fight Studios as a 2D animator, moving from junior to senior animator during her time there. After 3 years at the company, she left to become a freelance animator and worked for a variety of studios including Glen Keane Productions, Eat Rice, Zendesk, IAMSTATIC, Kingdom of Something, Ninakami, and more. In 2022 she was hired by the College for Creative Studies as an adjunct professor within the Entertainment Arts department. While teaching, she continues to pursue freelancing as her primary source of work.
