Program Learning Outcomes
Upon graduation, the Foundations program will have prepared students to:
- Use drawing as a visual thinking tool for communication, idea development, and creating finished artwork, from observation and imagination.
- Apply principles of 2D, 3D, and 4D design and color theory with appropriate craftsmanship across a variety of media and disciplines.
- Develop core digital competencies in organization, communication, workflow, and basic design software.
- Demonstrate basic fabrication skills by creating orthographic drawings, constructing projects, and applying safe shop practices.
- Develop strategies for critical analysis and professional art and design practice to evaluate projects, present ideas and manage time effectively in a collaborative setting.
