Detroit Movement Festival 2019 (Michigan Festival Poster Design Project, Fall 2018) – Movement is an annual 3-day festival celebrating electronic music in the birth place of techno, Detroit, taking place every Memorial Day weekend. When one thinks of techno — underground parties, sweaty bodies, and repetitious thumping music may come to mind. The color scheme is derivative of a thermal camera, including shades of purple and splashes of hot, fiery colors.
