(2010 - 2014)
My research interests focus on 2D design concepts and perspective methods, which enrich my environmental designs and figure drawing skills. My work includes animation productions and digital illustrations, allowing me to bring narratives to life through engaging visuals. I also emphasize 3D modeling and effective storyboarding, aiming to combine creativity with technical expertise in visual storytelling.
Professional Experience
As an artist, my work merges traditional and digital design methods, driven by a passion for storytelling. I have had the opportunity to work as a freelance designer with clients such as the Safe Pregnancy Foundation, Kresge Foundation, Vice Media, the Detroit Institute of Arts, and Detroit Center for Design + Technology, among others. In 2023, I accepted a full-time position as a Drawing instructor in the Foundation Department at the College for Creative Studies, where I teach and inspire aspiring artists. Additionally, I have taught youth animation design courses in the Continuing Studies Department and served as an Adjunct Professor at Henry Ford College from 2016 to 2023. I have showcased my art in various Michigan galleries, art fairs, and publications, and I was honored to be named a Kresge Arts in Detroit Fellow in Film and Music in 2016. Through my work, I aim to create compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
