All eras of marine design with an emphasis on mid-century American and European design trends and techniques. High interest in advanced materials development for construction and assembly techniques. Tremendous interest in reintroducing updated retro design themes to the US marine market.

Professional Experience

He was named New Products Designer at Regal Marine Products in Orlando, FL immediately after graduation from CCS in June 1987. Named concept Development Manager at Four Winns Boats, Cadillac, MI for close to 10 years. He then ventured into the design consultancy side for several years working for over 30 marine clients. he was then tapped to become Director of Design and Product Enhancement for Nautic Global Group in Elkhart IN where he directed the design direction for all 11 boat companies. In 2014 he founded Continental Powerboats, LLC where he is currently. In 2023 accepted a request by fellow CCS graduate Paul Snyder to  join as adjunct professor doe Junior Vehicles Studio ‘Intro to Boat Design’ whereby he can share and advise based on his 36 years of marine design experience.
