Emily Canosa completed her Master of the Arts at the Center for Japanese Studies at the University of Michigan. During that time she worked with the Curator of Asian Art at the University of Michigan Museum of Art. Her thesis entitled “Growing Together: Creating Vital Collaborative Histories” explored the co-creation of digital histories using a web platform. Her research interests include art education, the role of art in social change, the construction of narratives and identity, ecological systems, and sustainability.
