Dan’s research interests include designing thoughtful products that make a meaningful impact in users’ lives, as well as creating products that users connect and identify with and that create moments of delight in everyday life through appealing aesthetics and functional utility. Dan takes a holistic approach to design process by leveraging research and technology to create innovative products.
Professional Experience
Dan received a BFA in Industrial design from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2019. During his time there he completed an Industrial Design internship at Bose and worked as a designer for several early-stage startups in the technology, consumer electronics, and electric vehicle industries. He served as the design lead for a project team that designed, developed, and built electric racing motorcycles, completing a build that raced at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 2019 as his capstone project. After graduating he worked as an industrial designer at Sprout Studio before joining the MFA Transportation Design program at CCS. Dan completed an exterior design internship at Zero Motorcycles and after graduating from CCS in 2022, he joined General Motors as an exterior Creative Designer.

- Global winner of the Magne Global Bold Perspective design competition
- Presented as the CCS MFA Transportation Design Thesis Select
- Designed and fabricated electric racing motorcycles that competed at the international level including the PPIHC
- Exhibited his competition-winning toy design at Sesame Street headquarters during NYC Design Week
