Currently researching and developing mold-making techniques utilizing silicone, plaster, and ceramic slip-cast pieces for the purpose of creating functional design objects.

Professional Experience

After receiving his BA in Ceramics in 2008, Christopher sculpted action figures for Mattel and Hasbro. He did sculpting work on such toy lines as: GI Joe, DC and Marvel Universes, Star Wars, He- Man, and more.

Christopher returned to school at Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2011. He received his MFA in Ceramics from Cranbrook in 2013.

Shorty after leaving Cranbrook, Christopher accepted a position as a Kiln Technician at historic Pewabic Pottery in Detroit, Michigan.

Currently, he works at Pewabic Pottery as a Fabrication Supervisor, Sculptor, and Instructor.

He has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Macomb County Community College, Wayne State University, and currently College for Creative Studies.

He creates his personal work out of his studio located in Detroit. He has shown his work in New York City, New Jersey, Michigan, Rhode Island and has his work in private collections throughout the Unites States and Europe.
