Professional Experience

Cari has enjoyed 20+ years working as a Craftsmanship and Appearance Engineer.  She currently works as a consultant to a Global OEM managing Appearance and Color/Grain/Gloss activities.  Cari manages suppliers worldwide to develop new products/colors and ensures surface quality, color, grain, and gloss, to support vehicle craftsmanship builds.  She manages all supplier appearance activities. She is very active in the Detroit Colour Council as Past President and current Board Member.  Previous employment in the industry was at Mahindra Automotive North America, BOS Automotive Products, Venture Industries and Magna, where she was responsible for similar functions.

Cari spends much of her time traveling internationally, facilitating the Farnsworth Munsell 100 Hue test with suppliers and company staff, along with color training and solving color concerns.  Cari has worked on Automotive programs with Subaru, Honda, Nissan, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, Toyota, Lexus, General Motors, Nissan, Chrysler, Ford and Mahindra programs.
