More than 1,300 students across 18 departments from the College for Creative Studies displayed artwork at the yearly student exhibition held this past May.

CCS’s must-see event took place in the heart of downtown Detroit with 3,000 people in attendance on opening night. The two-week exhibition, sponsored by Great Lakes Wine and Spirits and PVS Chemicals, kicked-off with the highly anticipated opening reception on Friday, May 12, which included food, beverages and music by local musicians.

Visitors had a unique experience viewing art exhibited at both the Walter and Josephine Ford Campus and A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education in Midtown Detroit. An impressive 1,300 pieces of student artwork were on display, many of which were for sale. One hundred percent of the art sale proceeds went directly to the students.
