CCS Product Design student Minwoo Lee has developed the product “Aria,” a portable medical product created with the sole purpose of detecting malaria utilizing infrared light. Aria eradicates the need for medical specialists, expensive equipment and highly trained staff.
CNN recently highlighted the entrepreneurial work of Veronika Scott, CCS Product Design alumna and CEO and founder of the Empowerment Plan, a non-profit that employs and trains homeless women who manufacture sleeping bag coats for those in need.
CCS Product Design alumnus Micah Leong recently won a logo design competition for the city of St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Leong works as a designer at Stahls, a sportswear, custom apparel, and promotional products company.
