The next generation of designers is in a unique position to redefine what is considered good, authentic and desirable product design. This lecture by Daniel Liden, a Copenhagen-based designer and author of “Better Things: Materials for Sustainable Design”, will question whether it’s even possible to talk about design in those terms if it doesn’t take sustainability into account. Exploring a wide range of creative approaches for reducing the environmental impact of product design, the lecture will also introduce an exhibition of exciting new work on circular materials by CCS students.
