The Edible Hut is a community gathering space with a living edible roof and oculus to the sky. The roof if a garden of perennial plants such as thyme, lavender and mint.
This community space was created in collaboration with and for the residents of the Osborn neighborhood as part of the community+public arts: DETROIT initiative with support from the Skillman Foundation, the Kresge Foundation, Chase and the College for Creative Studies.
