What Sets Us Apart
College for Creative Studies is a nonprofit, private college authorized to grant Associate, Bachelor, and Master’s degrees. CCS is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, an institutional accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

CCS offers 11 BFA degrees, 1 BA degree plus an Art Education Certificate and 5 graduate degrees with several of our programs being STEM-designated. programs. International students completing a STEM-designated program can apply for the STEM OPT (Optional Practical Training) Extension.

Deadlines
International applicants are recommended to submit their applications by the individual degree level early action or regular application deadlines on the Undergraduate Admissions or Graduate Admissions pages.
The final application deadline for all international applicants is April 1.

CCS Scholarships and Financial Aid Resources
We strongly encourage applying by the earliest application deadline to be considered for the highest amount of scholarships available.
CCS Merit Scholarships
CCS’s tuition and fees are the same for every student — whether they come from in-state, out-of-state or another country.
All applicants to CCS are automatically considered for CCS merit-based scholarships once they complete their admissions requirements. Recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 to continue receiving these scholarships.
Awards are based on the portfolio, academic achievement and any other required materials and can vary from student to student during the admission process.

Average CCS Scholarship for incoming international BFA students who began their studies during the 2025 – 2026 academic year
$29,500 USD (per academic year)
Average CCS Scholarship for incoming international graduate students during the 2025 – 2026 academic year.
International Student Grant
New and returning international students are awarded $1,500 in the first semester of enrollment each academic year. To be eligible, a student must be a citizen of a foreign country (non-U.S. resident).
