For this campaign, The New York Times used current events as a metaphor for readers to see how easily the news is tainted by one sided facts and opinions. We had the audience take action to reveal the full story. In this print we showcases how ‘The truth lies below the surface’. The Trash Island in the Great Pacific Ocean, two times the size of Texas, has even bigger problems than you realize below the surface. So does some of the news you read.
