IL MAKIAGE This unapologetic makeup brand provided a brief that asked for a campaign that would disrupt the streets of Detroit. Through research, my partners and I really found the importance of self-expression in makeup. The key phrase being: people don’t wear makeup for anyone else—and that, is unapologetic. The result was an edgy, colorful campaign using real shades the brand sells and sassy copy. There’s something about a fearless attitude that really makes people listen.
