How do I make a gift to CCS?

Can I support a specific program at CCS?
Yes, gifts may be designated to program areas of interest to you.
Is my gift to CCS tax deductible?
You may deduct charitable contributions of money or property to CCS if you itemize your deductions. Always consult with a qualified advisor on questions of fair market value and other tax considerations.
How do I create a planned gift for CCS?
CCS is fortunate to have donors who support the College in many ways. No matter how you may choose to give, your generosity helps our students now and into the future. For details on creating a planned gift for CCS please view our Planned Gifts page.
How do I make a gift of personal property and/or artwork?
Gifts of personal property such as real estate and other valuable personal assets may be donated to the College for Creative Studies. Learn more about gifts of real estate or personal property, also known as a gift-in-kind by filling out the CCS Gift In-Kind Form.
What is a matching gift?
If your employer sponsors a matching gift program, you can double or even triple the impact of your gift to CCS. Learn more on our Matching Gifts page.
How do I make a gift in memory or in honor of someone?
Honor a lost loved one, recognize someone special or commemorate a milestone by creating a special gift to CCS in their name. More information is available on our Honor & Memorial Tribute Gifts page.
How do I establish a scholarship?
Annual Scholarships
Established with a minimum annual gift of $1,500; scholarships are awarded on an annual basis and can be directed by the donor to benefit a particular department or minimum GPA, etc. These scholarships are awarded in one year or over a period of years.
Endowed Scholarships
Established with a suggested minimum gift of $25,000; the principal value which is never spent and exists in perpetuity. After the minimum gift value is received, a corresponding spending account is then created, and this account supports award distribution in the name of the Endowed Scholarship. Awards would begin to be awarded between 6 and 18 months after the minimum gift value has been received by the College. Donors can direct their endowed scholarship to benefit a particular department or minimum GPA, etc. The principal is never spent and exists in perpetuity.

What is an endowed fund?
An endowment gift to CCS is a meaningful way to honor someone and leave a permanent legacy. Endowed funds can be established with a gift commitment of at least $25,000 (payable over a maximum of five years), which will generate funds to support an annual scholarship award in perpetuity.
Gifts from family and friends can be combined and used to create a new fund; the endowed fund requires a memorandum of agreement with a signatory responsible for the commitment.

How do I get a tax receipt for my gift?
