Award Ceremony & Exhibition Public Hours

Award Ceremony: Monday, February 10th and Tuesday, February 11th Scholastic Exhibition Art Opening & Award Ceremony” Detroit Film Theatre, 7-8 pm The Exhibition will open at 9 am in the Walter B. Ford II Building and Center Galleries

Public Hours

Monday, February 10th- Friday, February 28th

Monday through Friday: 9 am – 5 pm

Saturday/Sunday: 12 – 5 pm

During the Scholastic Exhibition, teachers are invited to bring student groups to see the work during public hours. School buses will drop-off and pick-up on Frederick Street or park in the Ford parking structure if coming by car.

CCS is the proud sponsor of The Southeast Michigan & Thumb Art Region of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, an art competition for Huron, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Sanilac, St Clair, Washtenaw, and Wayne County middle and high school students. Over 1,000 artworks and digital portfolios are displayed throughout the CCS campus, with opportunities for scholarships and awards for participating students.
