Advertising Design
Advertising connects people with world-changing ideas and influences culture and society. It’s not just “selling stuff” to consumers. It’s telling creative and inclusive stories that build brands, engage unique and/or diverse target markets, and inspire action and change in the world.
In CCS’s Advertising Design program, you’ll learn to tell stories and create content for multiple creative communications channels — like social media, video, print, digital, user interaction and experiences, mobile, experiential events and guerilla tactics — to solve problems, influence culture and bring impactful change to life.
To succeed in an industry with ever-changing rules and avenues, you’ll develop a range of tools, from strategic copywriting and storytelling techniques to the audience research and sociological analysis that will broaden your reach and impact.

Experiential Learning in Advertising Design
With our extensive industry connections spanning over a century, we ensure that the active learning our students engage in aligns with industry needs, preparing them for careers. Through hands-on experiences and reflection, students bridge classroom knowledge with real-world applications, both within and outside traditional classroom settings. Experiential learning opportunities are integrated into academic programs. Offered within courses or programs of study, these opportunities enable students to apply their knowledge through educational projects, partnerships, and placements.
